Sodium fluoride supplements “have not been found by FDA to be safe or effective,” according to an article posted on the US National Library of Medicine’s (NLM) website. (1)
According to the Cochrane Oral Health Group’s study, fluoride supplements failed to reduce tooth decay in primary teeth and found permanent teeth cavity-reduction is dubious and that health risks are little studied. (2)
“When fluoride supplements were compared with topical fluorides or with other preventive measures, there was no differential effect on permanent or deciduous teeth,” wrote Cochrane researchers Ismail et al, reports the New York State Coalition Opposed to Fluoridation, Inc. (NYSCOF). (3)
Cochrane said fluoride supplements are routinely prescribed to children who don’t live in Austria, Bolivia, Columbia, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, France, Germany, Honduras, Nicaragua, Panama, Switzerland, and Venezuela. RESEARCH THIS STATEMENT AND ADD SENTENCE HERE. IE COUNTRIES WITH FLUORIDATED WATER PRESCRIBE FL SUPPLMTS – BUT NOT THOSE WITH FLDTD SALT? EVEN THOUGH 23?% OF OUR YOUTH ARE EFFECTED BY DENTAL FLUOROSIS.
When my son was a small child his doctor recommended that I give him Poly-Vi-Flor, a liquid vitamin “fortified” with fluoride, for stronger teeth.
And yes, we had fluoridated water.
And yes, we used fluoridated toothpaste.
And yes, by 9 years of age he had dental fluorosis.
And most unfortunately by his late 20′s he completely ruptured his achillies tendon – with no medical insurance.
And no, I didn’t research it for myself.
It happened because I had too many other things to worry about besides that stupid fluoride stuff.
It happened because, like so many other parents, I just didn’t look into the research on fluoride and make my own decision.
Please, do your own reseach.

According to the National Library of Medicine, fluoride’s side effects include: (4)
At least they admit that fluoride does have negative side effects. However they’ve left off some obvious ones like kidney issues, bone fractures, the breaking down of collogen including of tendons (5)(6)(7), IQ decrease, cancers, and so on and so on.

You have the right to make your own decisions.
The constitution guarantees you that right.
You have the right to tell your Doctor you want a urine fluoride test. A urine fluoride test should be mandatory with every physical examination. It is your right to know how much fluoride you are ingesting every day. If the urine fluoride test is over ( 3.2 ) you are being fluoride poisoned.

When I was deciding between the barrage of calcium supplements, the saleswoman put in her two cents:
She explained that she prefers Calcium Hydroxyapatite due to the fact that it contains all the normal minerals that bones contain in them. And why is that?
Because Calcium Hydroxyapatite is derived from actual bone – ground up animal bone.
Interesting notion. Sorta makes sense. But where are those animals from? Were they watered with municipal water? Or did they roam around drinking river and well water? (more…)
Fluoride collects in primarily in bones – of humans AND animals. Naturally, soup broth made with bones is thought to be VERY high in fluoride. Unfortunately organic meat and bones are not necessarily low in fluoride because ORGANIC doesn’t mean fluoride free or low fluoride content.
The only way to have low to no fluoride bone broth is to make it with bones from animals raised without fluoridated water. That means no tap water if the public water system is fluoridated. So if I’m concerned about fluoride in my animal’s bones, I’d better raise my own livestock. (more…)
I really don’t believe “they’re” going to stop adding fluoride to our water anytime soon. Do you? Very little movement is being made in the direction of stopping water fluoridation while continually more cities are becoming fluoridated.
I notice the faces of policymakers when I talk to them about well documented problems with fluoride. They look at me like I’ve lost ALL contact with the rational dimension.
So I go back to them with more and more evidence. I present the evidence with more and more skill. I speak more and more often.
I think that if I just do it well enough, often enough, with enough evidence – they are SURE to listen to me. I imagine that I can save an entire nation from fluoride induced brain erosion and a slow, ponderous health decline. But no . . . nothing changes.
Frankly, how would you even know? Fluoride doesn’t have to be on product labels- for ANY edible products. Plus it’s flavorless and odorless. Sorry but . . . fluoridated salt is increasingly common – both intentionally fluoridated and naturally fluoridated.
Why is salt being fluoridated and how can we find LOW fluoride salt?
I know people who have dedicated their lives to the fight against water fluoridation. Why?
Because it’s unthinkable that this unpurified toxic chemical is being intentionally added to our water supply. Over the top – unthinkable!
There are people who spend all their time fighting for the health of their community. Noble? Yes of course. A waste of time? Quite possibly so.
On his show “How Safe is your Drinking Water?”, Dr. Oz actually talks about water fluoridation.
He introduces the topic by saying that if you don’t want fluoride in your drinking water, you can use a water filtration system to get it out. Dr. Oz uses Reverse Osmosis (RO) to remove fluoride from his family’s water! He explains that RO systems are affordable, compact systems that remove fluoride plus a list of other water contaminants. (more…)
Ma used to say: It’s not what you say; it’s how you say it. Gingrich agrees. NO, I’m not a Gingrich supporter – BUT, again like Ma used to say, If the technique fits, wear it.
Give it a try! Practice using the Black and White Lists (below) to show your listeners what’s really going on in the big wide world of the fluoride invasion.
Black List: Use these words to emphasize the OTHER guy as the untrustworthy opposition, the bad guy, the cause of our problems.
White List: Use these words to make people, issues, events, etc. look GOOD in the mind of the listener. These words drip with ethical, trusted, warm and fuzzy values. They FEEL good.
Trying to travel fluoride free is a major headache. Officials respond that if you don’t want fluoridated water, you can buy bottled water. But it doesn’t work that way. That’s more of a flippant, cast-off-the-guilt answer than anything that’s functionally feasible. In order to live fluoride free, one has to be really insightful and tenacious.
Many organizations endorsing water fluoridation are part of the dental industry. Since the dental industry makes a lot of money from fluoride treatments of various types, they certainly want the public to BELIEVE in fluoride.
(What would happen to dentist’s businesses if people began demanding NOT to have fluoride treatments? That’s a huge money maker for dentists.)
People and the environment CAN be saved! All we have to do is think about HOW to do it.
All across the European Union they use the Precautionary Principle.
Basically the it states that if an action or policy is suspected of causing harm to the public or to the environment, the burden of proof that it is NOT harmful falls on those taking the action. Nice, huh? What a reasonable approach!
Go to your local city council meeting – and bring a couple of friends. Tell the council what’s on your mind about the water fluoridation issue. Print out one of these presentation scripts or write up your own.
How popular is the practice of intentional water fluoridation? The Pro Fluoride Crew makes it sound like the whole world is headed that direction, with scores upon scores of countries already entrenched. BUT that’s NOT even close to reality, as you can see in the short list of 12 countries.
Really, only 5% of the world’s population has opted for their municipal water to be fluoridated (many of them while kicking and screaming). (more…)
Getting off of fluoride is fine, great effects – but getting it out of my body is another challenge.
When I detox fluoride, I get back the old symptoms and feel truly icky. Sure hope there’s a better way of getting this stuff out of my body!!
I’ve read that Boron helps to get fluoride out of the body. Iodine is also supposed to do it. Organic kelp powder gives a low dose, gentle way of consuming iodine. (more…)
Jump right into the shocking story of how fluoride ends up in our water supply. The information in this video makes me question our public decision making model. “They” give us information regarding how wonderful fluoride is for us. We happily, blissfully, blindly believe them – only to turn around many years later and start asking questions.
We’re unhappy about IQ effects, cancers, kidney problems, male infertility, bone cancer, osteoporosis, and more and more due to fluoride – BUT they’re still mumbling something about cavities. (more…)
The National Kidney Foundation has made the first step in coming clean on the fluoride issue. Fluoride is highly toxic to people that have kidney problems – even more so than the general population. This video does a good job of describing the situation. (more…)
Will fluoride effect people less if they are health conscious and aware? If a person eats organic or macrobiotic or vegan foods, are they in the “home free” zone? Does that protect a person from the effects of fluoride?
Asking the question almost sounds silly however I pose it because a number of healthy-thinking friends of mine dismiss concerns about fluoride, believing they’re already doing plenty to keep themselves healthy.
They have the mindset that since they’re already doing so much good for themselves, they don’t need to concern themselves with one more little thing like fluoride. These people act as though it’s JUST fluoride.
But there is no such thing as “just fluoride” any more than there is “just arsenic.” Fluoride is only slightly less toxic than arsenic.
No matter how awesome and life-enriching a person’s diet is, eating poison simply isn’t a good thing!!
