Can fluoride poisoning occur from exposure to HYDROFLUORIC acid in the workplace if absorbed into skin.
Will this produce longterm effects from a single exposure and are those bone loss issues reversible?
My son was exposed at work and the only treatment was rinsing with water. There was no topical calcium applied and they did not send him for medical treatment despite extreme pain 3 days later. Will the lack of recommended treatment change the prognosis. He had losts of bone loss in his spine and chronic pain. He is only 29 and we feel it is related to this exposure.
Please help!
