Until it affected me personally, I
didn’t believe fluoride caused any health effects. But my kidney function kept dropping for a year, only to bounce back as soon as I eliminated fluoride from my life. That opened my eyes to this fluoride thing and some of the aches and pains it’s been causing me. Looking back over the past 10 fluoride-free months, I recall changes in my body and changes in the way I felt.
For example, after being distinctly gluten intolerant for years, only 6 months after being fluoride free, I could cherish a slice of whole wheat toast or a maple-raspberry scone – with wild abandon.
The frequent nausea that plagued me, gradually dissipated to nothing. I can drink coffee again – it doesn’t make my belly ache anymore. And that tender, achy belly issue hits me a fraction as often and much less intensely.
Even in this damp, Northwest climate, I don’t feel “chilled to
the bone” anymore – usually. Headaches have almost stopped. And that fatigued feeling continues to back off.
But WAIT, there’s more! My brain functioning is clearer and quicker plus memory has stepped it up a few notches. And ever so gladly, I rarely experience “down” feelings anymore.
These are all health issues I’ve discussed numerous times with doctors – who have no answers. I’ve had various scans and blood tests over the years but with no diagnostic outcome and no improvement. They just kept getting worse.
And now, merely remove fluoride from my life and voilà!: my body’s developing a new, much happier, much more comfortable “normal”.
Right, I realize these are personal observations therefore not scientific conclusions. At this point for me, that’s plenty good enough. Simply getting off fluoride brought about FAR more positive changes in my health than all the doctors I’ve seen for years, put together.
Finding out if fluoride was effecting me was easy. I got off the fluoride train and sat back to observe the changes in my body. Simple.
As far as the scientific approach, there are a ton of studies that show a swatload of scary health effects of fluoride. Goodness, where to begin . . .

I always thought that natural fluoride wasn’t as bad for you as the kind they put in water and toothpastes, and the fluorides in teas would logically be natural. But it sounds like the natural kind is no better than the other.
And also, I had always thought it was the thyroid that was most effected by fluoride. I became furious a couple of years back when I realized they were adding bromine to bread as a dough conditioner, and saw that it was in ALL commercial breads (except Jewish or organic type breads).
So, between fluoride and bromine and chlorine, our iodine gets displaced, since it’s the lighter of the four, or something. And people wind up with bad thyroids. And once the iodine gets displaced, it’s hard to get it re-balanced.
And I had also heard about fluoride making ligaments more brittle, so it made sense there seemed to be more and more people with torn rotator cuffs and such.

If you wait for “scientific” proof about these kinds of hidden toxicity issues in our environment, you will wait a long time. Taking personal action is the important thing.
When your quality of life is at stake more people need to realize that AMA doctors are, first and foremost, medicine dispensers. They are not really health advocates.
Likewise, the FDA, EPA, and other public health officials are not really health advocates. At bottom, they all do the bidding of the highest bidders: Big Pharma, Big Business, and corporate interests.
Nobody in power is searching for ways to supply ever more pure and healthy water to our population. Sounds funny to even say that.
So we simply have to do it ourselves.
Amen, Jeff.
More and more . . we all have to become stewards of our own health, it’s our only chance.
